Family:
John lives in Fort McMurray, Alberta with his wife and 4
children.
Education:
High School Graduate
Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Manitoba
Business Administration Diploma from Lakehead University
Work experience: John started working in the heavy equipments field
at the age of 16 in a family operated business. He
worked summers and weekends on construction crews until
graduating from business school in 1978. Upon graduation
in 1979 John began fulltime supervision of H. Wilson
Industries Ltd, and by 1981 he had taken over as
President and General Manager of the company. John
currently owns and operates a heavy equipment operation
with 85 pieces of heavy equipment. H. Wilson Industries
Ltd specializes in paving, sewer and water excavation
and sand and gravel. John excels at managing a staff of
between 75 and 150 employees and his management duties
include Financial Planning, Project Management, Human
Relations, Engineering and Loss Management.
